A single Dividend Adjustment
On YourBourse, the dividends can be adjusted either as a single adjustment or as many adjustments via the imported file.
To do it singly, click the blue button Manage next to the already created and properly working server. Then choose Adjust dividends from the drop-down menu.
The new page will be opened. There are several fields to fill.
Let's consider all the fields.
Symbols - symbols for which the dividends will be adjusted. Remember that YourBourse will welcome only accounts with open positions with specified symbols. Please use MetaTrader symbol names in this field, which also supports masks.
For instance, if AAPL*' is input, all symbols whose name is started with AAPL will be used.
Please don't forget to tap Enter after typing the symbol's name.
Groups - list of groups from which accounts and positions will be requested. The names of the groups should be the same as the names of groups on MetaTrader.
Please don't forget to tap Enter after typing the group name(s).
Short value/Long value - here, please input the dividend values that will be used for calculating the amount of dividend operation. Short values will be used for the short/sell positions, and Long values for the long/buy positions.
Comment - any helpful comment for the context of dividends adjustment can be written down. The text will be shown in each balance operation in the comment field in MetaTrader.
Execute immediately - if this checkbox is selected, the dividend operations will be executed immediately after pressing Adjust button.
Time to execute - please choose a specific time when the dividend operation will be performed on the MetaTrader server. One can select the day, hour, minute and second for dividends to adjust.
Timezone - one can choose the timezone employed for the "Time to execute" parameter, and it helps set up the time of execution at a specific timezone.
Simulation mode - if this checkbox is selected, the operation will be performed "virtually ", meaning that no actual dividends will be adjusted, and the clients' balance won't change. This feature is useful when there's a need to check all the parameters of the dividends before making actual adjustments.
When all the fields are filled with the relevant data, please press Adjust button. The dividend will be adjusted.
