MT4 Coverage Accounts

To set up your Coverage Accounts in your MT4, follow the steps below:

1. Create a group on MT4 server that will be used for sending manual hedging trades. Please note:

  • This group must NOT be processed by the bridge, so make sure to not include or exclude it on Configure Order routing page.
  • The manual Hedging group must only contain dealer’s accounts used for manual hedging. Client accounts must not be created in this group.

2. In Cloud Portal, go to MT4 bridges and MT5 Gateways. Find your MT4 Bridge and click Manage -> Configure coverage accounts. Click Add coverage account.

Your Bourse MT4 bridge supports 3 types of coverage accounts:

  • B-book coverage account - all B-book trades will be booked into this account. All cover trades will be netted.

  • A-book coverage account (Netting) - all A-book trades are being booked in this account and netted, thus you will be able to see your total open position on A-book per symbol.

  • A-book coverage account (Hedged) - all A-book trades are being booked in this account and hedged, thus you will be able to see each trade sent to you LP(-s). You can also choose to Remove group markup when booking clients' trades to A-book coverage account in Hedged mode.

All A-Book cover trades are booked with the same direction as clients' trades.

All B-Book cover trades are booked with the opposite direction to clients' trades.

Please note that when editing orders in a Coverage Account in Netting mode through MT4 Manager, you need to restart MT4 server for the edits to take effect.

Editing Cover trades in a Coverage account in Hedged mode from MT4 Manager is applied immediately, no restart needed.
