How to Calculate the Amount of the Dividends
To calculate the sum for the dividends, the following formula is used:
Amount = lots * contract_size * dividend_value * conversation_rate
Amount - a sum of money that will be withdrawn to transfer to the client’s balance in Meta Trader.
Lots - it is the volume of the trades.
Contract size - is the contract size for the symbols in Meta Trader
Dividend value - it is the value (either for the short/sell or long/buy positions) that is defined during the process of adjusting dividends
The conversion rate is the conversion rate between the symbol currency at hand and the account currency.
For instance, if a client has an open position of 10 volumes of EURUSD that have a contract size of 100 000, the long positions dividends were set as 0,01, and the conversion rate is 1.09587 then, according to the formula 10 * 100 000 * 0,01 * 1.05587 = 10 558.7 USD
The client will have 10 558.7 USD as the dividend.
