How to Check the Dividend Adjustments

After dividends were adjusted, there's a functionality to check whether everything ok with them. There are two options to do it on YourBourse.

If the dividends were adjusted 'immediately', then one can check them on the page Past Adjustments

If the dividends are supposed to be executed in future, then they might be inspected on the page Upcoming adjustments.

Let's consider them one by one.

Past Adjustments

The Past Adjustments page is intended to be a report page for inspecting all the dividends already adjusted on the servers.

Past Adjustments page

The Past adjustments page consists of several essential features that must be helpful. Primarily, it is filters where the parameters can be set up by which one can find the new dividends.

Next is a table where one can find all the relevant dividend information.

From filter - here, the earliest time can be set up from which one wants to see the adjusted dividends.

Till filter - here, the latest time can be set up from which one wants to see the adjusted dividends.

Status filter - one can choose a status for the dividends by which the dividends will be shown. There are three types of statuses:

  • In Progress means that the adjustments are proceeding and are supposed to be executed soon.
  • Completed - the dividend adjustments are made.
  • Failed - the dividend adjustments failed due to some errors.

After finishing with the filters, click the Refresh button to make the dividends adjustments shown on the page.

All the relevant information for the dividends adjustments will be presented in the table below the filters. It contains several columns:

Created - the time when the dividend adjustments were made on the YourBourse platform.
Triggered - it is time when the adjustments are to be executed.
Server - this column shows the information about the servers (MT4/MT5) on which the dividend adjustment was created.
Symbol - the symbols for which the adjustments were made.
Group - the information about the groups for which the adjustments were created

* - This mask means that dividend adjustments were made for all the groups on the MT4/MT5 servers.

Short value - the value for the dividends for short/sell positions.
Long value - the value for the dividends for long/buy positions.
Comment - the comments left while adjusting dividends or importing in the file (see above)
Simulation - here, one can check whether the adjustment was made as simulated or not. If it was made in the simulation mode, the character Y appears.
Status - the state of the adjustments can be seen here
Result - The attached Excel files for the dividend adjustments will be available under this column. Click on the file name to download it to the local PC in Excel format.

The file contains information about the Server Name, Server Type, Account Number, Symbol, Currency, Conversion Rate and Status.

Example of the downloaded file with the executed adjustments

The account number is in MT4/MT4 Meta Traders servers.

Currency is MetaTrader account currency.

The amount is the sum of money withdrawn or paid from or to the account under question.

The formula for the adjustment calculation can be found in the paragraph "How to calculate Dividend Adjustments "

The conversion rate is the rate for the conversion from Symbol currency to account currency.

Status shows whether an adjustment was executed or not.

If the file for the adjustments is not seen under the "Result "column, no groups or symbols were found on MT4/MT5 servers that match the request.

In the Simulation mode, the status of the adjustments will always be "Not executed ".

Upcoming Adjustments

On the Upcoming adjustments page, one can find all the adjustments planned to be executed in the future.

Upcoming Adjustments page

The page consists of filters (From and Till) and a table that shows the forthcoming adjustments. The table's columns are the same as in the case of the Past adjustment page.

There is also the Manage button next to each adjustment. If pressing this button, one can see an option to cancel an adjustment, and the cancelled adjustment won't be executed.

One can also select the adjustments by selecting the checkboxes next to each adjustment or the one in the first column heading. If they are chosen, one can see the new button Cancel Selected in the page's upper right corner. By clicking on it, the selected adjustments will be deleted.

The cancel Subscription button appears if the adjustments are selected.
