How to use swaps functionality

When the Manager API connection is created, now it’s possible to export and import the swaps. To do it, one needs to click on the “Manage” button next to the MT4/MT5 servers and choose “Export/Import symbols“.

When the “Export Swaps” option is selected, the Excel file with all the proper symbols for MT4/MT5 will be downloaded to the local PC.

Upon opening the downloaded file, three columns can be found in it.

It’s possible to easily change the values for the “Swap short“ and “Swap long” columns. To import those new values to the YourBourse platform, the “Import Swaps“ should be selected.

After uploading the file, the new page will be opened when it’s possible to see the results of the import of the swaps. On the page, information is provided about values for the swaps as well as the status of the importing and issues with them, if there are any.

To check which symbols have what swaps values, it’s possible to choose the “Configure swaps“ option in the menu “Manage“ next to the MT4/MT5 servers.

This page also allows one to change the values for the swaps. Upon changes in the YourBourse, the swaps will also be immediately changed on MT4/MT5 servers.

By the same token, when long/short swaps are being changed on MT4/MT5 servers, the new values will be shown on the Configure swaps page.
